Spiffy
Hello, i just bought JKJA yesterday and i was wondering about the mods. I have been playin for at least a day now, but i can't seem to get my mods to work. I have downloaded some char mods and they won't work (i don't think). I downloaded them to a diff folder from jkja and i tried loading them from the mp page. I clicked load, it acted like it was going to my desktop, but then its almost like the game restarted, it went black, then i say STAR WARS JEDI KNIGHT: JEDI ACADEMY. I figured maybe it had found the mods and i just weant into a map. I tried going \model darth_maul and nothing happened. I tried the othere ones too but they didn't work. So how do i do this. Someone told me to put them in the jkja folder which i did, same result. Note: I put each mod in a separate "subfolder" because of the readme.txt. Any help would be appreciated. Amidala from Chop Shop
True game mods like xMod2.2, Jedi Academy Reloaded, melee mod, etc. go in their own folders in the GameData folder. But if it's just a skin, model, map, etc., the pk3 file goes in the base folder that is in the GameData folder.
Samuel Dravis
Also, if its a model, it should show up in the model selection list. The same thing with maps; they should show up in the select maps list. (with SP maps, you have to type in the map name into the console - check the map's readme for details on how to do this).
