bigdaddy_39
Yer i decided to reinstall jedi knight 2 after getting my computer upgraded, it still has the same graphics card although i dont think thats the problem as it worked before. I choose to install it to my drive G which isnt the main drive so i dont know if that has something to do with it, It then procedes to instal untill it reaches 94% and comes up with an error message: Component transfer error Component: game File group: game files file: E:\GameData\base\assets0.pk3 (e drive is my CD drive and this file is the current one which is being installed) Error: Data cycle cyclic redundancycheck. If any one has any information on how to overcome this error is would be greatly appreciated as i love this game.

Andy867
Try cleaning the disk, since most likely there could be dust/fingerprints on the disk, or possibly there is a scratch on the disk. If it is just dirty, try cleaning it, then try installing, if there is a scratch, pick up some cheapie scratch remover from a local computer store (Circuit city, Best Buy) and see if that helps.
