macie Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 I have JKA for the PC but i also have a macintosh system... is there anyway to get the PC version to work on a mac? .... meaning, are there any mac binaries avail for download to get the PC jka version to run on a mac. I know the mac version is out and the updates are avail for downloads.. but it would suck if i have to buy the mac version seperately just so my family can play jka on a mac while the PC jka CDs are not being unused. Any help is appreciated.... peace.
Kurgan Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 Unless you want to use something like WINE, I think you're pretty much stuck with re-buying the Mac version of the game for your other platform... sorry. If you're wanting to play multiplayer on your mac and use mods, it's probably better in the long run for compatability and any extras or improvements the Mac version might have (the Mac JK2 had higher res pre-rendered cutscenes for example).

Anakin Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 Really dont worry about it buy it and enjoy The only other option is to buy Virtual PC but it really suck at playing games. And releasing binaries in the future, it aint going to happen.
