Quillan
It's yet another mathematical puzzle (and you thought you would NEVER have a use for math back when you were in school!). There are two containers you have controls for in the panel display: a small that holds 3 million sangren and a large that holds 5 million sangren. The object is to get the large one to hold exactly 4 million sangren. So: Fill the small container up-- 3 in the small, 0 in the large. Transfer from small to large-- 0 in the small, 3 in the large. Fill the small container up-- 3 in each. Transfer from small to large-- 1 in the small, 5 in the large (it can't hold any more) Empty the large container-- 1 in the small, 0 in the large Transfer from small to large-- 0 in the small, 1 in the large. Fill small container up again-- 3 in the small, 1 in the large. Transfer from small to large-- 0 in the small, 4 in the large. BOOM!
Swat
2 steps faster: 1. Fill the Container Pod. (container = 5 parts) 2. Transfer from Container to Injector. (container = 2, injector = 3) 3. Dump the Injector Pod. (container = 2, injector = 0) 4. Transfer from Container to Injector. (container = 0, injector = 2) 5. Fill the Container Pod. (container = 5, injector = 2) 6. Transfer from Container to Injector. (container = 4, injector = 3)
