Corran Horn DFD Posted January 3, 2004 Share Posted January 3, 2004 Hello all, I am looking at buying Galaxies, and have a question about system specs. I have all the requirements except only 800Mhz of the 900Mhz needed. I am willing to experience slight lag and lower tuned graphics to play the game, so do you think it will work? I know of a friend who plays Jeid Outcast with only 250Mhz, so I'm assuming it would work with minor slowing, rather than altogether not running. Any hardware experts know if I'm correct? The game can and does struggle on high spec PCs, some even have all the options off. Galaxies is a beautiful looking bugged experience and the graphical settings are alot different than Jedi Outcast as its using new features. If you can upgrade, do so...if you live in the UK, theres great deals on Motherboards/AMD Athlon XP chips for under £100 - should get a 2.0gig chip.
