And-Schw_Mahr
Hello folks, I got a problem when I start JO and JA servers. They didn´t get listed in the directory/browser. I think the problem is the game is sending the my computer´s internal IP (192.168.1.5) instead of my modem´s IP (200.203.X.X) So I would like to know the command to send to the master host my external IP, for JO and JA , please. OK, This is not JK related, but I would like to know how to do the same with Half-Life servers. Thank you very much, Andrew
Andy867
Actually, even though the server console says your internal IP, the broadcast still goes through the Modem's IP, which then broadcasts ITS IP to protect the internal IPs. you probably need to open the ports that JO, JA and HL use to "talk" to the master server.. Jedi Outcast uses 28060-28099, Jedi Academy uses 29060-29099 (roughly) and i have no clue what Half Life uses, but it probably follows the same idea. And-Schw_Mahr
Hello, Thank you for answer my post. Well, I am not firewalled and all my modem´s ports are re-routed to my computer and I can´t get my game listed on master servers. I was checking the Soldier of Fortune I manual and I saw a command to do what I want, but I don´t know how to do it with JA and JO. AJL
Open ports ?? -I can join any JA mp game I want without any problems... -I can give my IP to my friend and he can join to my games using it from the internal server browser... --- --- --- But my servers doesn't showup in the lists.. (not in the internal and not in GSA lists...) They did before... (sometimes - very rarely) but at that time my OS was WinME but now it is Win2000...
