The Count
I recently did a Windows XP Update to keep my Laptop up to date with all the bells and whistles however when I installed a particular update (I don't know which one) from now on I get the Stupid Windows User Account Log On Screen when I am the only user who uses my laptop. I really don't want the stupid start up screen to come on seeing as I am the only person who uses this computer and I like to turn it on; go away for a few minutes, come back and everything is loaded up however no I have to turn it on wait for it to get to that my user name log on click that and then go away for a few minutes and then wait for my computer to load up; its quite annoying to say the least. Does anyone know how I would be able to get rid of this and have the computer automtically log on as me and load up without me having to click on my user name? Thanks in advance, The Count. ET Warrior
Do you have to enter a password when you're logging on? If so, then you simply need to remove your password. If not.....I have no idea.
