JawaJoey Posted January 23, 2004 Share Posted January 23, 2004 There's not really any fixed armor sales places. NPCs don't sell anything. Try /shout ing for it in front of the Coronet starport. Also, you can open you map (Ctrl+V) and on the side look for vendors then armor, and all advertised shops with armor vendors will show up. Not all of them mind you, just the advertised ones. You will probably be able to find an armor store at a small player town that isn't on the map. Research armor before you buy. There are many types with different strength/weaknesses. Composite has the best protection, but high encumberance. Good armor is also very expensive. If you are willing to be a really annoying twerp that everyone will hate, try /tell ing the mast armosmiths near you to make armor, but don't expect results, because that's extremely annoying. seadonkey78 Posted January 23, 2004 Share Posted January 23, 2004 A good approach is to find a master armorsmith's shop and take a look at the stuff he can make. If you don't find anything you want, send him an email telling him that you visited his shop and what you're looking for. Everyone I've dealt with (armorsmiths, weaponsmiths, architects, etc) has responded well to that and were more than happy to fill my custom order.
