Livingdeadjedi Posted January 25, 2004 Share Posted January 25, 2004 I was looking at the Hoth seige map.. i clicked on the landscape that was func_grouped with the Terrain texture on now in the entity window they had done Key Shader Value siefe1/terrain and then Key Alphamap Value heightmaps/siege_hoth.pcx i understand what this does but i cant find a list or the folder for heightmaps assuming of course there are more Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rgoer Posted January 26, 2004 Share Posted January 26, 2004 The term "heightmap" is used incorrectly here. The pcx file is just a color index that defines what textures get mapped to what vertexes of the terrain surface (which is just brushwork). It is only used at compile time, so it probably didn't get included in Raven's pak0.pk3 or their Radiant media pack. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
