Syphadeus
Word. Kitty is most kind and helpful. Plus, she's the only Twi'lek dancing girl to ever offer me her services before any kind of payment. MOD services of course... Nah seriously, the people on this forum are great. In fact, I don't think I've once seen a questionable post or character here.
Asmodeus
i'm sorry, but i am a huge noob. I tried downloading the all force powers with armor mod, but it is all in different symbols. Do i just select what is there and compress it?

Just put the file as it is directly in your KotOR\Override folder. That particular mod doesn't give you all the powers, but it does make any powers you gain normally work no matter what kind of armor you (or any of the jedi) have on. -Kitty

T7nowhere
Yes this needs to be stuck. Thanks Kitty, I was just thinking last night that we needed a thread like this here. :)
Guest bneezy21
I had the same problem. The 2da ends up as a spells.2da.txt. I don't know why it does this. If someone could email me it in a zip I think that would work. edited by Darth333: e-mail removed - yeah it's an old thread but it's always on the first page
Kitty Kitty
All you gotta do is right click the link, then select "save as". Path to your KotOR\Override folder, and in the file box, type "spells.2da" That's all there is to it *edit* Note - this method is for the two hacks that enable the force powers to be used with all armors. Just to be sure I'm clear before someone tries it with something else up there and wonders for an hour why they can't get it to work */edit* -Kitty

Kitty Kitty
I update as often as possible. At the worst, I may occasionally miss a day or two due to work constraints, but that'd be about it. And of course, I can't update anything I don't know about, so my having the relevant info has to be factored in as well obviously. -Kitty

CDRSeadog
*chuckles* Correct - CDRSeadog...the "CDR" is an official abbreviation of my rank upon retirement from the U.S. Navy (Commander)...Seadog was a "nomme de guerre" (sp) given to me whilst I served (and retired) from Naval Aviation - it was reflective of my entry into military service - when I served for a few years in Vietnam and Germany as an enlisted man - ahem - with the U.S. Army, of course :-)
Kitty Kitty
Hehehe... I took out the "(I think)" bit. And actually, while I appreciate the interesting explanation (though I'd guessed along those lines since you'd already mentioned your past service and such), my confusion was merely that I wasn't entirely positive who actually did the mod, since I just combed it out of the threads, and it was hosted other than on the site of the creator etc etc. So I just didn't want to give incorrect credits. Btw.. If CDR is Commander... what's Commodore? CMD? I mean, we haven't had them in the US Navy since like.. 1900 -except temporarily during WWII... but they still gotta have an abreviation don't they? (lol.. yeah, way off topic here.. sorry) =p -Kitty
CDRSeadog
It may surprise you, Lady Kitty - but the Navy still utilizes the rank of Commodore - or at least did up until 1998 (I'm still not sure of all the Changes Bill did to the Navy)... CDR - Commander...Comdr = Commodore *chuckles* I never made it that far!! CMD is an abbreviation for "Command" I stand corrected. The rank of Commodore is - or I should say was - utilized strictly for Surface Warface Flag Officers - and I personally knew that the CO for Destroyer Squadron Eight up in Norfolk was always called "Commodore"...but one of my buddies down here on vacation informed me that - in truth - the Navy dropped the Commodore's pennant and rank from the records back in 1986. We never used the rank Commodore in Naval Aviation *chuckles again*
tk102
I have an alpha release of a GUI KotOR Savegame Editor available for people willing to test it for bugs. If you're interested, please visit Lil' Jawa's Sith Resource Board for download instructions. Sorry about the indirection. I want to make sure you understand this is an alpha release. Some people could become rightly upset if their savegame gets corrupted. I'll post the URL here once I get enough feedback to move it into beta.
