CaspER sX
I seem to keep getting an error everytime i try to open class.2da, appearance.2da, and portraits.2da. Though classpowergain.2da and featgain.2da open with no problem. If anyone could help that'd be great. Thanks. These are the error details: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array. at kotor_tool.frm2DAEditor.CreateDataTable() at kotor_tool.frm2DAEditor.BuildEditor() at kotor_tool.frm2DAEditor.miLoad2da_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.MenuItem.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.MenuItemData.Execute() at System.Windows.Forms.Command.Invoke() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmCommand(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ContainerControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 1.0.5000.0 Win32 Version: 1.1.4322.573 CodeBase: file:///c:/windows/microsoft.net/framework/v1.1.4322/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- kotor_tool Assembly Version: 1.0.1486.42202 Win32 Version: 1.0.1486.42202 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files/LucasArts/SWKotOR/kotor_tool.exe ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 1.0.5000.0 Win32 Version: 1.1.4322.573 CodeBase: file:///c:/windows/assembly/gac/system.windows.forms/1.0.5000.0__b77a5c561934e089/system.windows.forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 1.0.5000.0 Win32 Version: 1.1.4322.573 CodeBase: file:///c:/windows/assembly/gac/system/1.0.5000.0__b77a5c561934e089/system.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 1.0.5000.0 Win32 Version: 1.1.4322.573 CodeBase: file:///c:/windows/assembly/gac/system.drawing/1.0.5000.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/system.drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly Version: 7.0.5000.0 Win32 Version: 7.10.3052.4 CodeBase: file:///c:/windows/assembly/gac/microsoft.visualbasic/7.0.5000.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/microsoft.visualbasic.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 1.0.5000.0 Win32 Version: 1.1.4322.573 CodeBase: file:///c:/windows/assembly/gac/system.xml/1.0.5000.0__b77a5c561934e089/system.xml.dll ---------------------------------------- osvgmzd4 Assembly Version: 0.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 1.1.4322.573 CodeBase: file:///c:/windows/assembly/gac/system/1.0.5000.0__b77a5c561934e089/system.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Data Assembly Version: 1.0.5000.0 Win32 Version: 1.1.4322.573 CodeBase: file:///c:/windows/assembly/gac/system.data/1.0.5000.0__b77a5c561934e089/system.data.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this application or machine (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. Fred Tetra
As with most troubleshooting situations, certain info is needed. 1. What is the version number of KT you're running? 2. How did you open the files you're having trouble with: a) double clicking on the item in the tree under 2da.bif b) opening from the file menu c) opened editor from the file menu, the used open on the file menu within the editor. 3. Are the files ones you had extracted previously using KT? (In other words, you're not trying to open a text version of the 2da file in question; KT doesn't handle 2DA v2.0, only v2.b) Fred
