Novelization?

Well, they wrote a Galxies book, which was excellent, and I think KOTOR would be great! We all know that it doesn't matter how we play the game, some choices are just the real one. Revan is obviously supposed to go light and all, just like in jedi Knight II... what if Kyle Katarn dies? Well, you load a savegame.... You don't tell yourself when you see him mentioned in a New Jedi Order book - "But he's dead! I saw it on my computer!" So it'd work, no matter if you want to somehow count your KOTOR story as canon. :p

Halo is FPS, Master Chief is Master Chief and there is no much options we can do to affect the game story except when we die.

Galaxies is a MMORPG and so no player is of key important, they are all just there as events take place (and since Galaxies takes place in the more restricted Star Wars eras there is no much they can do to change the statos quo).

Most novels take place after RotJ since they have the more freedom to make things at that time, doing prequels run into the problem of they cannot do some things because certain things have to be around in Ep. I-VI time, for example the Republic was never destroyed from when it was founded until Palpatine turns the Republic into the Empire.

SWKotOR problem is that the main character can be several things and I do remenber BG series novels that were horrible, as a rule-of-tumb games as novels tend to be a disater, that is expecialy true when its a open RPG were the main character plays a key role and even a prequel to the story could be a problem since they could not use -spoiler- much due to what SWKotOR leaves as open.
