hgwall44
Ok i was wondering where you put custom textures. Is it in the gamedata/base/textures folder. Also what type of images can go in this because i wanted to add paintings and things. What I mean by type of images is JPG JPEG and what not. Also another question that I have been pondering on is how to make a texture fit a brush. It annoys me when you apply a texture to something and it doesn't fit right at all. Does anyone know how to make this right. Thx if you can help
Lil Killa
Add a folder to your base/textures folder so that it look similar to this base/textures/lktextures (folder name can be anything but I called it "lktextures") Textures can be one of three formats - .jpg, .tga, and .png. They need to have any combanation of the following sizes: 2x2 4x4 8x8 16x16 32x32 64x64 128x128 256x256 512x512 1024x1024 To make a texture fit a brush select the face of a brush (ctrl+shift+click) and apply your texture then press the "S" key and click the Fit botton. Also if you just need to nudge the texture over in a direction select the face of a brush and then hold shift while pressing the arow keys to move the texture around.
