WhiteStripes27
maybe i am just stupid. but i have looked on these forums and i cannot find where i can find the uti files or how to make them. i know that the gff editor will edit them and i have the kotor tool as well. so i think i have everything i need but i just can't figure it out. i will try to make something cool for the site when i find out what to do
Kitty Kitty
Open up KotOR_tool (making sure everything is set up properly - such as paths etc) and click the + sign next to BIFs. Then click the one next to templates. Then scroll down the list. Items and such are listed in classes, so the names can take a little getting used to. For example, g1_a_class5001.uti That's an armor (shown by the _a_) of class 5 (base AC value). It happens to be the first armor of class 5 that's also in the "special armors" category. The difference being that most normal class 5 armors are g_a_class5xxx.uti (note the missing 1 after the g). Anyways.. look through enough of these and you'll start to figure them out. There was a list posted a while back as to what .UTI was exactly what item (actually it was to explain what to enter if you wished to use the giveitem code in the cheats - but this equals out to the same thing), but I'm not certain where it wound up. Should turn up if you search aronud some however. -Kitty

Endar Spire ------------------------------- end_m01aa - Command Module end_m01ab - Starboard Section
