Cheats

Hi,

 

I am brand new to this forum. I have to say I'm not too pleased with some of the replies I have been reading.

 

When you are new to the game, you see a lot of "cheats"listed in a lot of web sites. cheats that may help a novice computer user, I would naturally want to use them to get further into the game.

 

Judging from the replies on this form regarding "cheats" on this form, I guess it's a sore point with some members, however we could be civil about it, no one likes to be made to look like a fool.

Actually, we haven't had a good "mock the cheaters" thread in a while.

 

The mocking is because, contrary to what some sites say, there are no cheats for XWA (with the in-game god-mode toggle, there's just no point).

 

I usually just refer them to http://www.gullible.com.

 

Aww, somebody claimed it. I have to find a new fake link; this one isn't funny anymore.

Thats a fair and just point from Scottie. Cheating isnt among my fav things to do

If you want to cheat you'll have to learn to mod the game with AlliED or something like that. Trust me though, it's more fun without cheating. And the game isn't so hard that you can't beat it without cheating. Hang in there, you'll finish the game.

I remember those threads. Very funny.

 

Always surprised me that people wanted to cheat when the game lets you make yourself invulnerable and have unlimited ammo.

 

The best is when they try the made up cheat and then complain that it isn't working.
