I just made a modification to the game that lets your character wield two double-bladed lightsabers. If anyone is interested in getting this mod pleas post.

I'll be adding screen shots later.

EDIT: Here's a screenie Dual double sabers

Tell me what you think.

EDIT: the mod can be gotten from http://www.gknetworks.net/kotor/baseitems1.2da

REMINDER: Change the file to baseitems.2da when you put it in your overide

Can you briefly describe what modifications you performed to create your mod?

I made the game register the dual bladed saber as a one-handed item. Then by filling the slots in a certain order, the computer no longer registered that their were two double-bladed sabers. (I mean in terms of holding them). I then tested it and modified it again for the attack to be that of two double-blade variant lightsabers.

Hope that was brief.

Ok. The item menu will register the double-saber as a one-handed object. This however does not at all affect the attack (which is 2 rounds a double blade) However, the 2 extra rounds will not appear in floating numbers because the 2da is telling it to display only two rounds of damage. (Meaning you do four rounds of damage, even though the computer says only two.)

Are you certain about that. I thought If it was changed to single wield it would act like a single weapon. I guess the dieroll still works the same. never mind I think I answered my question.

If you want to see something really deadly to a lightsaber wielder change the single lightsaber to weapon size 4. I got a laugh from that when I did it with Malaks saber. ( but I have a strange sense of humor or so im told)

I guess you didn't think one double saber was enough for a jedi ,eh Now they can cut themselves into sections. :)
