Lord Exor
Excuse me for asking this question, but do the new models and skins released with bot files replace existing bot files? If yes, is there a way around this? If not, why are the original bot files missing? Is there a limited amount of bots one can choose from?
_PerfectAgent_
If the new botfiles have the same names, then the new one will replace the old one. I don't think there is a limit on botfiles.
Kurgan
You need to edit a file called bots.txt that shows the list of names and etc. This file HAS A LIMIT (in file size) but you can always create more bot list with new names and put them in more seperate pk3's and run those. Each new "skin" is basically just a different model/skin so you can easily assign them to an already created bot. To create NEW bots, just edit the .jkb and .bot text files and give them some new names then place those in a bots.txt file list so they get spawned in, etc. For an even easier way use BotMaker, a nice program for making them in JK2 and JA. Available from the DDS (Darth Dude Studios) website, the same guys who made I-Bots and Re-Routed, among other things.
