Clefo Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 It's that time of year again, when Collegities play basketball for fun and glory.. This is an official thread of sorts WARNING: Flaming "East Coast Bias" rant coming. How in the HELL do North Carolina (18-10 record), Alabama (17-12), Maryland (19-11), and Michigan State (18-11) all get better seeding than Arizona (20-9)? I mean provided we get past Seaton Hall then we probably have to face Duke, DUKE! Friggin' Duke, Friggin' selection committee.
Artoo Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 Arkansas sucked it up once again this year, that is all I have to say in this thread. That and, GO DUKE!
Tie Guy Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 Because for most of the year UNC and Maryland had to face top 20 teams every other night in the ACC.
Clefo Posted March 16, 2004 Author Posted March 16, 2004 Point taken, but how does one explain Alabama and Michigan State? Either way, I wouldn't bank on them to go all the way, or past the second round. I filled my bracket today My Final 4 Teams being: Kentucky, Oklahoma State, Stanford, and Duke with Stanford beating Kentucky in the final.
WolfmanNCSU Posted March 26, 2004 Posted March 26, 2004 Well, now that my school is gone (blown 10 point lead with 5 mins to go...) I am pulling for the underdog.... GO NEVADA!!
ckcsaber Posted March 26, 2004 Posted March 26, 2004 Ech, MSU is out. Damnit!! Next year Izzo, next year....
