{xg}darthVADER Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 when i compile my map i get this error in the lighting stage safe_malloc failed on allocation of 224919552 bytes can someone tell me how i should fix this?
{xg}darthVADER Posted March 16, 2004 Author Posted March 16, 2004 ok ive compiled the map but now when i try to play it half way during the loading the screen turns black and you only see the blue loading bar in the bottom and then the game crashes please help

EMF Universe Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 This command did it for me: q3map2 -v -game ja -fs_basepath "C:/Program Files/Games/Jedi Academy/GameData/" -light -lomem -fast "C:/Program Files/Games/Jedi Academy/GameData/Base/maps/outlander6.map" Notice that i typed it in my GtkRadiant directory. Just put in your paths in the command. Also I use GtkRadiant-1.3.13. Other versions maybe need antoher line for their q3map2 to work, i don't know. I Had Gridsize 512 512 512 in worldspawn
