Noctambulist Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 I successfully made Zaerdra a playable character, but I notice that when I put a visor on her, there's no graphic for it, i.e. the vison doesn't show up on her head. Is there a way to make them show up like they do on the other characters?
T7nowhere Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 The only way to get the head gear to show is to add the hook in the model of the head so the mask will show. I have looked into trying to do with hex editing but I have been very hesitant to it. In short the reason it does not show is because the model doesn't know how to show it.
pie_man101 Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 When you say you made Zaerdra a playable character, do you mean her name is still "Carth" or something, or did you actually make Zaerdra join your party?? IF you replaced the texture of the character correctly, you should be able to have them wear items. (example, I made Carth look like darth bandon, although I could unequip his clothes and reequip them, making him look different)
T7nowhere Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 I think Zaerdra was made as a chossable PC. So the your right you can equipe the items in inventory, but becuase the head model does not know how to show the masks it won't.
Noctambulist Posted March 18, 2004 Author Posted March 18, 2004 Yes I made her a choosable PC. Her clothes and weapons and all work fine but not the head (since that is what's actually unique). Thanks T7, I had a feeling it was something more complicated than I'm qualified to do
