stride
Ok.. how do you make Hoth weather just like in the Hoth2 level in Single Player. Everytime i try myself i get a misty fog effect blowing in the wind direction i set. I know i need to make global fog. I just need to know how to get those exact weather settings and wind settings. I also need help with the sky. I want the global fog effect to be able to kinda block it out like in the hoth level. Ill explain more umm the fog is really thick and you can't see the sky. Methos007
Not that I know how to do this, but you may want to use the "edit" button after your posts to add/fix things in them. Wade will probably be answering your questio any moment now so hang on tight:p
Codja X
I know how to do it in game: Bring down the console and use the R_WE command. use R_WE HEAVYRAINFOG for the misty fog and i'm fairly sure there's a R_WE WIND as well. You would probably have to set these in the fx_snow or fx_rain entities when creating the maps. That's all I can think of off the top of my head I also need help with the sky. I want the global fog effect to be able to kinda block it out like in the hoth level. Ill explain more umm the fog is really thick and you can see the sky. Please reply if you can answer these quistions. Please.. I wouldn't mind knowing how to do this as well. Is it something to do with the foghull variable in the sky shader?
