DeathWhitch
Ok I host a Dedicated internet server on a LAN and the server seems fine for all my clan members but as of today I cannot get in it! Its a FFA server running the JA+ mod and when I try to connect I get kicked with the following error message. . "Couldb't find player info for Seige" What does this mean and how do I fix it? I can't reinstall cause my disk two has gone missing. . . any ways to work around this?
Kurgan
Remove all your mods from the base folder and try again. And find your disc 2!

DeathWhitch
ohh yeah did i mention this is a Jedi Academy prob and not a JK2 one?
Andy867
The siege part gave it away since JO doesnt have a SIEGE game mode. What siege map are you trying to run exactly? Also, are you using the latest v1.01 patch available from Lucasfiles/PCGamemods/JK3files.com?
DeathWhitch
ok maybe i should be a bit more clear with what i am trying to say. I run a dedicated server for Star wars: Jedi Academy and it is a FFA server running the JA+ 1.8 mod. The map i run is the default FFA5 map (taspir) i run a pure server and cheats are NOT enabled. The kill limit is 1522 and it has a 0 time limit. The room name is .....}JC{-=DeathRoom=- with yellow and red tags. . . feel free to join and see if you can get in. so far the siege problem only effects me and only on some servers not all. i will try a reinstall as soon as i get my hands on my disc 2 again or i will just copy the base folder from the server PC to mine over the network to see if that works. if anyone decides to join the room let me know if you get this prob or not. thanks DeathWhitch JC Clan Leader
DeathWhitch
ok just so everyone knows i fixed it by coping the base folder from the server pc to taht of my own ( i guess taht is the same as reinstalling ) i figure both would fix but if anyone has any info on what caused this prob to begin with or anything let me know. . . . also can someone tell me how to get custom texture for a map in JA using Radient to make maps? Kurgan
Try the editing forums for help in placing textures. Making textures is simple enough, just use your favorite paint program (I prefer Photoshop).
DeathWhitch
making them isn't the prob its making them show up in the game. . . where do i have to put them so you can see them in game and not the white lines it shows when it can't find a texture? i know on JK2 you put the customs in the assets0.pk3 file and that works but i tried the same for JA in all the assets files that have a textures folder in them and i got nothing man thats my prob sux too cause my textures are photo realisitic ( meaning i took pics of the walls and floors and stuff) yes i am mapping a WAL-MART!
