Could someone please help me to create a black 'n' white dual-coloured-bladed staff?

To all you great KOTOR lightsaber-smiths!

 

With the utmost respect and regret for any inconvenience caused, could you greats help or guide me in creating the above mentioned lightstaff. Below lists down the staff I had in mind with greater descriptions:

 

(1) A lightstaff with two different coloured blades at each end.

(2) One blade is of white colour with black inner core.

 

(3) The other blade is of black colour with white inner core.

 

Again, please aid me in creating or guiding me through creating such a lightstaff above step-by-step. I have no words to describe my gratitude to you! All credits will naturally be directed as appropriately as well.

You can start by makeing the colors. I think white is easy to make though I don't know how you couget a black glow. You could get gameunlimited's black lightsaber and alter the texture he made.

 

You can use one of my double sabers to test the colors until you get it the way you like. *example if you use the double blade with a blue crystal then you will have to name your textures w_lsabreblue01.tga and w_lsabregren01.tga.

 

I think the most difficult part of making the saber would be the textures. Although I have stated in several threads how to put the saber together, I don't mind helping you out with the parts your unsure of.

Thank you very much for your reply. Sorry for my late one as I'm busy with work.

 

As you've adviced, I got the black saber from alvin777 and a white saber from somewhere else as well. As I'm totally new to the whole KOTOR modding thing, would it be too much of a hassle if you could guide me step-by-step along from now on? At your own time, of course.

 

So now is...

 

(1) Do you know of any saber-tutorial found within Holowan Labs that I could follow immediately to achieve what I want? Or perhaps, what would be the next step now, as I've mentioned above that I got the files you've directed me to get?

very interesting, I didn't know that you could have a double saber with two different color blades. This is a neat idea.
