Yeah I saw Kill Bill Vol.2 and The Punisher on the opening day I love Kill Bill vol.2 but the last fight scene between Bill and the Bride was too short after thinking about it but original at the beginning they suppose to add the Micheal Jai White and Bill fight so QT could show us how bad ass Bill was in sword play but QT is going to add that fight scene in the dvd release......For Punisher...yeah that all what I have to say don't get me wrong the russia fight was pretty good but overall the story didn't build up as I wanted it to do and I think they was just going for gore than action that just me..........

I have to say I was dissappointed.

I (and my girlfriend) loved Kill Bill Vol 1. I loved the style of it, the uniqueness, the originality, the design and the colours.

I was soooooo excited about Vol 2., but wasn't allowed to watch it until this weekend as my girlfriend woulkd have killed ME if i had gone without her. We were both rather dissappointed.

It was still interesting, but it seemed to be missing a lot of the OTT things that made the first one unique. It was also TOO LONG.

It was 20 minutes longer thant he 1st one and it sure dragged in places.

[may be spoilers from now on]

I thought the opening black-n-white of the wedding was a waste of space, far too long and we had already seen most of it at least once.

I thought that the basic chronological order, the lack of anything as inventive as the anime insert and the more subdued action, colours and lots of BW made it seem much less vibrant and energetic than the first one.

I also found the two to be a bit disjointed, with no real connection between the two. (No O-ren, no Vernita Green, no sophie fatalle, no Sonny chiba in part 2 at all, and of course there was almost no bill, budd, pei mei or anyone in the first film.)

The music was nowhere near as good in vol. 2 :(

After building bill up to be so amazing that no one even wanted to mention his name in the first film, he didn't seem very tough, had no long fight scenes and didn't seem very evil. The final fight scene was clever and fun, but very short.

If it was down to me I'd have cut the first scene entirely (massacre at twin pines), started with a scene of bill kicking the ass of someone or other, mixed the order up a bit and maybe put a few scenes from vol.1 in vol.2 and visa-versa to even it out and add a bit of connection betweent he two.

Of course, it is a much less actiony film than vol.1 so maybe it isn't as immediate and I need to go see it again.

Vol 1: 5/5

Vol 2: 3.5/5
