starwars.com anounces release date.

Hey everyone starwars.com actually said when battlefront is comeing out. I know there was speculation on the exact date for them and that they wouldn't all come out at the same time but as far as i can tell this says otherwise. this is what they says..

 

Star Wars Battlefront Trailer and Playable Demo: The fourth disc will offer a trailer featuring an exciting look at the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront video game from LucasArts, along with a special demo for Xbox users that lets players fight the Battle of Endor as a Rebel or Imperial soldier and drive AT-STs, ride speeder bikes and use different weapons to lead their side to victory. The full version of Star Wars Battlefront will also be released Sept. 21 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC.

...and as with 90% of other games released, we'll see it on shelves 6 months to a year after that...

 

Though someone once said that Lucasarts is good with getting their games out on time. I don't have direct experience as I purchased both Outcast and Academy well after their initial release and am still waiting for Galaxies to...season. I may actually consider playing it as my first entry into persistent gaming once the space expansion is released, the bugs are fixed from that expansion, and the nerf fest ends.

I doubt it will come out in September since most star wars games will release dates of fall the past few years end up as a game coming out in November and/or December for the holiday shopping season. I am always hoping and praying for a release to concide with the Original Trilogy boxed set. Two birthday presents for my birthday that month. Haha!
