Krytin
I was playin' with some skins today (sounds weird ) and I remembered a few programs that I'd used for The Sims that would give you a 3d image of your skins before you put it into that game. Anyone know anyone that can make something like that for kotor?
tk102
What you're describing is previewing a skinned model. Unfortunately we can't touch the .mdl files aside from hex editing them. I was searching back through some old posts* regarding .mdl files and found one from Joco that had some insight on the file structure. It turns out, Joco is the developer of NWMax, a model editing program for NWN. If there's anyone that could seriously approach the .mdl files in KotOR, it's Joco. Hopefully his attention will return to this forum in the future. * a worthwhile activity -- we've come a long way
