Would enjoy to try retexturing

in response to with what photoshop or paintshop pro work really well and u do know how to extract the texture files don't you? if not then here is how u do it open up the "texturepacks" ERF file and then open up the tpa subcat and then if its characters u wanna skin open up the subcat labeled "P" and u will find the textures for most everything in that one includeing male and female PC heads and clothes for all 3 classes and armor and robe textures are in there as well as your party character skins too to extract them doulbe click it and KT will open an image viewer just click the "Write" button and save it to whatever folder u want on your comp and it will save as a tga file then open it with a paint prog and their ya go

I downloaded from the tools topic a program that calls "tpc2tga". This is the program? If it's other program can you give me link? Thanks

This is indeed the easiest way.

 

But just as a side note, KT can extract the files as .tpc files, and tpc2tga can be used after the fact to convert them to .tga in the dos console prompt (tpc2tga [.tpc file] [.tga file]).
