maaes
could you be a little more specific? exactly how arent they working? you cant extract them, or they dont give the effects you want when you extract them to the override folder? *EDIT* ok, i just saw your post in the 'red revan' thread. here's what you need to do. simply putting the .rar files in your Override folder wont work - rar is used to compress files much like .zip is and you need to extract the files in the .rar archive before you can make use of them in KOTOR. if you dont have a tool for extracting .rar archives, i highly recommend winRAR . then extract the files in the .rar archive to your Override folder and try again. hope that helps you any. maaes
strange really .. i find .rar to be much more efficient than .zip - and with all the free webspaces used for kotor mods, all with limited bandwith, one would think that compressing files as much as possible would be a priority ah well, i'm sure .rar will win the crowd in the end. StormSinger
I've been using rar files for about 10 years and I've always preferred them to zip. Probably always will.
