Help with saber mods please

I have a bunch of saber mods that I've downloaded from the people here, but the problem is that all the sabers look them same because they all have the same file names so I was just wondering if there is a way to have all of the sabers I've downloaded with the color of the blade and the hilt design matching their names (what they are supposed to look like). Because I would like having the Mace Windu saber I downloaded be purple instead of green due to Sep's saber. Even Sep's two sabers I downloaded look the same.... i.e. the green and blue one are both green. Any help would be greatly appreciated and Huge thanks goes out to the creators of the sabers.

Seprithro I looked at a couple of your sabers and there is no reason that they would conflict. The only time a lightsaber may conflict with another is when upcrystal.2da and or baseitem.2da is required for it , and those are simple enough to edit to add as many upgradable sabers as you want.

 

Look at the files for both sabers and see if what files are named the same then just change them. It sounds like it is just the texture var is conflicting to fix that, change the number on one sabertexture and then open it's uti in the gff editor and change the texture var (#number on txture) to that of the texture.

what is the TXI, MDX and MDL files for because I checked and the items that are in conflict they are the

 

TGA: for the saber hilt

TGA: for the icon in the Equip screen---Edit: I figured out how to fix this but now the color for one of the lightsabers is blue instead of green :(

 

and the

 

TXI: file which says w_Lghtsbr_002

 

MDX: file w_lghtsbr_010

 

MDL: file w_lghtsbr_010

 

so what are thses files for?
