Johch Ai'oki
Picture yourself before 1997 where the first true hints of what Episode 1 was. The Prequels are non-existant film-wise. You got your EU novels. You got your original trilogy films. I hadn't had the luxury of thinking this because I wasn't concerned at the time of what the prequels might have been. I always thought of what happened in the first three movies and what went beyond. I never truely wondered about the prequels at a young age, not until Episode 1 came out, so as I said I never had the true luxury of thinking about it before they came out. But I'm sure some of you old-(or old-old-)school Star Wars fans did. You've seen the original trilogy before, played a SW game or two maybe, read probably some EU books, what did you believe of the prequel trilogy story to be really about? I'm sure telling us such a story differs drastically from how Lucas told us (I.E. no Qui-Gon before Ep. 1 came out). And after seeing the first two prequel movies, and hearing about the third, would you change your original interpretation of what happened in any way? It's how you told the prequels before the prequels ever came out (which is why I posted on this forum rather than OT or Cantina). I just feel the need of a different point of view of this wonderful story to be told.
