looking for blaster mods and some questions

Are there any mods out for ranged weapons ?

 

Like a blaster that temporarily freezes the target ?

Or stuns a target ?

Or that emits a lightning like attack like the force power ?

Or a blaster that emits force powers at no cost to the user-kinda like a wand in fantasy games ?

 

Also can a jedi use a blaster in one hand and a saber in the other at the same time ?

Yes there is, go over to pcgamemods.com and grab my Blasters/Armor/Droid Pack in there the Prototype Heavy Pistol as well as Carth's Heavy Pistol, and Cassius Fett's Pistol all have a 25% chance to stun their targets. :cool:

I don't think this is possible as the games AI would have problems with this (Do I close to attack in melee or do I stand here and shoot?, then the game crashes.):D

RedHawke is right, I tried for a couple of weeks to make that work with no luck. I'm hoping that when the codes for the game are cracked we can make it.

No one has been able to get a spell-like effect (a script) to fire when a ranged weapon is used. I tried for a long time to make flamethrower, but had to settle on an armband.

 

You might be able to tweak the projectile animation somewhat by changing some 2da files (can't remember which ones, probably start with 'proj').

 

For spell-like effects, you need to rely on Droid Utilities and Armbands. I don't remember exactly everything I tried, but you'd think you could use a blaster model, but in the .uti file, specify that it's an armband and make it equippable in the hand slot...
