Guest picard34
I need to know how to restore a pilot (.plt) file for XWA. I had to rebuild my machine recently and I retained my pilot file. The entire PC was reformatted and rebuilt. When I place the .plt file back in the xwa directory and start the game my pilot does not show up. When I exit out I find that another .plt file has been created instead of using the one I place in the directory. What can I do? Has anyone had to deal with this before? I have made it up to the middle of Tour of Duty four (second CD) I think and I truly do not want to start over from scratch. Any ideas and advice would be helpful. Guest Thrawn
I think if you get the piolit edtior u can find the piolit file, and make XWA recognize it. If nit, you can just use the editor to make a piolit just like ure last one. ------------------ "Have no fear, your local Grand Admiral is here!" Guest Fondas
picard, if you just copied your *.plt file in the XWA directory, you shouldn't have any problem, unless after you did that , you created a new pilot with the exact same name. ------------------ The only place where success comes prior to work, is in a dictionary !
