Remember the Vulkars you first met when coming down the elevator to the lower city? And the two aliens not wanting to give the money they own to Davik and Canderous comes? Well guess what they are... There's also plenty of them to kill in the Vulkar Base. As you probably have read, there are several types of this specie. Only one of them is shown in KotOR.
