EvilJedi
Make a trigger_multiple on each square, link it to your spotlight. Check the box with start_off in the entity window (I have no idea if it's there with lights) and it should work.

Gohan_Trunksss
no.... not too many lights.... my firend has had over 200 lights in a map, i only have about 30..... it has to do with targeting a light, he said target the func_multiple to the spotlight, but you cant target the light or it gives that error..... or did i do this wrong? Shadow_stone
maybe try using target_activate and deactivate
Gohan_Trunksss
nope...... i am resolving to plan B lol, leave the spotlights on and change a few things, thanks for helping guys
EvilJedi
Make sure you select the TRIGGER first and then the LIGHT and then connect them. If it says something about "Must have two brushes selected" unselect both and then select them again in that order, then link again. Maybe the MAX_SWITCHED_LIGHTS thing means that you can't have too many lights by a switch? Or maybe your lights are colored giving that error? WadeV1589
You can only have so many unique 'styled' lights in a map, if you turn a light into a switchable light it becomes a styled light; quite simply you can't do it with a lot of lights.
Gohan_Trunksss
wade and evil both right, have too many styled lights, which ruins my idea so i have to leave them all on perm. :-(

WadeV1589
No, number 1 is the fact mapping requires closed boxes, aka the hull...some people just never grasp that concept and wonder what 'leaked' means.
Jedi_Vogel
Seemed fairly logical to me, once I figured out where the "void" was
