ok nothing went right for me from the word GO!

my machine is of hardcore game specs and all updates are there. so please dont ask what i have....

 

ok from the start i had no characters to see. just voices.

fixed that with the new patch. BUT.... now i cant use my force powers and im stuck in the training area. all my config is ok and ive tryed lots of different keys but still cant use my force powers to push/pull a wall over. any ideas? and i cant use cheats like devmapall, seems not to work either.

did anyone even test this game b4 it was even released? if they did they should be shot. test, then test again, and even test some more......and iron out these sort of bugs...

Many many people have been playing this game for months without the problems you describe, so it's not a problem with the game in general. We are assuming you have a legitimate retail copy of the game, of course, not some burned or warez version.

 

I think some people have had problems with particular brands of keyboards. If you have a different keyboard available, try that.

Check your patch version. Do you have the latest official one?

 

Check your drivers (video card, sound card, directX, keyboard, mouse, windows updates), do you have the latest stable ones properly installed?

 

Run the "system analzer program" that came with the game and RUN ALL TESTS. Be sure it passes everything 100%. If not, reinstall/update the appropriate files.

 

If all else fails, remove any mods, uninstall, then reinstall from the original discs and re-apply the latest official patch.

 

You should also visit Yoda's Helpdesk (support pages on LucasArts.com). Perhaps some part of your hardware is simply not compatible with the game or there is a work-around for your particular case.
