test Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 I am trying to play with a friend of mine and when I try to host the game, he is unable to se the server that I created. If he tries to host I am unable to se the server that he created. He has a firewall, but we have turned that off, but I am still unable to see the server he is hosting. I, on the other hand am behind a router on a home network, and I believe that is what is keeping him from seeing the server that I setup. What I need to know for the router is, what ports do I need to allow to have my computer show up as hosting a game? Aslo, does the game use tcp or udp? any other sugguestions would be appreciated.
