At the moment I have a set of Black Mabari armour which I know is very basic. It only cost me 5000 credits. Being realistic what armour should I save for next? I have seen Compoisite and Ubesse(speliing???) but each piece is about 20k - 60k. This is way out of my league at the moment. Are there alternatives to Mabari? Thanks in advance.
Exar_reborn Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 If you can find a good armoursmith they can make a Ubese armour jacket for you and then you can jsut stick with the mabari. The jacket covers torso and arms and will absorb a great deal of the damage you take. Other armour types are Chitin and Padded
Deft Aklin Posted July 11, 2004 Posted July 11, 2004 The DS armorsmith, Terlo, is currently producing composite armor at 70% base and 85% kinetic. If you can come up with the 28 enhancers (nightsister segments, kimo or krayt scales), he can make it with 42% stun. This slices up to 90% base, and is the stuff the devs do not want you to have. Runs 450k and you can buy a million credits on eBay for $10-20. Anyway...... Ubese can usually be found at 70% or higher vs. Kinetic for 60k. Yes, you really only need the jacket and pants.
