THE BADGER:
Yeah ya also gotta understand that there is no camo. I mean white? You would think that with all the infinite knowledge that the empire has you would think that the would give there troops camo, but no there white, they will stick out like a prostitute in church. The only thing close to camo is the rebels skin. But you will be able to see a white trooper from a mile away. Everything will be balanced. Although it hardly helps, the white and glossy armor actually some what gives resistance against blasters fire. Notice that the same effect is also with light. THE BADGER:
LOL would you go out into a battlefield with a bullet proof vest, but the only way you could use it is if you dress in all white. LOL, no thanks for me. I take my chance with camo. I've never seen a trooper not go down from a direct hit, have you? I think Lucas must of thought that the white gave the troopers a cool look for the movies. I mean there is nothing more cool than to see a whole regiment of soldiers in uniform marching. Kinda like when a battleship in the navy leaves port the whole crew is on deck at attention, all in white I might add. Looks cool!
Elite Jedi
They might have extra armour and invisability 'boxs' like in Halo.
Master William
I see no reason to not include the Expanded Universe from the starwars.com Databank as canon, it is after all just in the EXPANDED universe, it means that it just wasn't in the movies, but still was there; we just didn't get to see it.
