Playing as a Tie Pilot

Hmm. This picture shows that you can play as a Tie Pilot, but when I was watching a sneak peak movie, it showed an imperial pilot but he wasnt in any suit or anything. He looked like an imperial officer or something like that. Wierd

I have only seen the Tie Pilot screenshots. People keep telling me they took out the Imperial Officer and replaced him with a Darktrooper.

That's not an Imperial Officer, that's an AT-ST Pilot. The character that the class is varies depending upon the map that they're on (Snowtroopers on Hoth, AT-ST Pilots on Endor, etc.).

Why did they put Yavin IV in, we already have a forest, and that's the forest moon of Endor. I don't see a reason for two snow- and forest maps. I guess it's too late now, but I would have liked a Death Star map (in- or outside, or both).

Even in star wars galaxies i have the tie pilot suit given to me by the Emporer himself

each side has a forest level which they defend on.

Endor=imp base

yavin=rebel base

 

Make sense?or am I just weird.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it the guys in grey suits that piloted AT-ST's in Return of the Jedi on Endor ? Remember when Han Solo said "I have an idea" on how to open the blast doors on the bunker.

I doubt star fighters will be used on that map.

But the Tie Pilots are in the Yavin map. I was watching the preview of the Endor map and at the character selection the tie pilot wasnt there. Im sure that on Yavin map you can select the Tie Pilot.

 

Kinda like in Battlefield 1942, ON one level you could use the BAR machine gun and on another level you used some machine gun that had the ammo in a circular thingie.

There's going to be flying on the Yavin map... I'm pretty sure I saw an X-Wing and a TIE Fighter dog-fighting in the sky above the battle.

I think they should just remove the screenshots of the Imperial Officer on Endor on Lucasarts.com so it doesn't confuse alot of us. Makes me think it is going to be in the game.
