will_tml Posted August 8, 2004 Share Posted August 8, 2004 Ok just afew quick questions about getting started in SWG. 1) After downloading and playing the 14 day trial free is it possible to then buy a copy of the game (so I have a hard copy of the manual and an install disc) and then play out the additional free days 2) When paying online with a credit card is it possible to buy more then one month at a time? i.e. pay the $70 dollars or whatever it would be all in one chunk for a 6 month subscription 3)I've read on the forums about game cards and how they are not yet (if they ever will be) available in the UK but it is possible to buy them from the US, do these work with UK versions of the game? 4)Final question here, does one payed subscription grant you with one character? Or is it possible to have more than one character? I ask this because I have a brother and it would be useful to have more than one character because then we could split costs etc. Thanks for any help regarding those questions. As a matter of fact, you have to buy the full game if you want to continue playing past the trial. 2. There are plans where you can pay a year in advance. You get a discount for doing this. 3. Jan Gaarni Posted August 9, 2004 Share Posted August 9, 2004 Question 4 I'll answer: Yes ... sorta. As I understand it you can create 10 characters on 1 (one) account. However, non of those 10 can be created on the same galaxy. If you want toplay on the same server and at the same time as your brother, then you will have to buy a second account, in other words, an additional game.
