-Zack-
Ok, I was dueling against a wookie model and myself a stormtrooper model. Both me and my enemy were using red style and we attacked each other with the right swing move. He was standing and damaged me pretty hard, but I was crouching and hitting him, but nothing happened! The saber moved trough the guys knees and no damage was done. And you know what! It happened twice in the same duel!!! Is this some kind of "very annoying" bug? Master William
Maybe it was lag, or maybe the admin of the server had changed the settings in a way to make them like that? I'm not too sure, but I hate it as well.
Prime
There is damage if the game deams you have hit the knees.
Kurgan
If something like this happens once, no big deal, just ignore it. I mean, you didn't lose a million dollars when you didn't hit the guy right? If it happens over and over again, then start to wonder. Was there a mod being used by the server? What were the pings of the people involved and the server? What is your framerate in the game?
-Zack-
I dunno what's my framerate in the game, but it never drops below 24, the last time I checked, it was 50-70, it's kinda hard to measure quake 3 engine running games FPS since it changes so rapidly usually, but if it starts to get laggy with my FPS, then I know it's below 24. Oh yeah, the server is using JA+ mod v2.1.
