non-star wars skins, models, items, etc

ok, this is the deal: i want to find out exactly who all out there would like to create non-star wars stuff for kotor based on other movies, games, books, etc. we already have a couple (ie, redhawke's terminator pack, or the freedom force skins). there has also been a couple of ideas floating around here and there. you know who you are, and i would like to help out/do some of my own.

 

for those that are opposed/not interested: don't start criticizing us for tryin to think outside the star wars universe. that kind of criticism is neither enjoyed nor welcome by anyone, and you know it, so don't start.

I'm looking for anyone who can reskin and/or do 3d models to help out on some Predator themed armors and weapons. If anyone is feeling more ambitious, then I'd be interested in talking about a mod like Gscc's Reign of the Sith mod.

well, its nice to see that i have hundreds interested. j/k, but thats ok. anyway, what do ya have in mind, rogue9dlb, with that mod? do you mean like having the predators invade, umm, we'll say a taris-like planet (a la predator 2 ), or something else? i'm just guessin here, so don't be too harsh.

 

edit: btw, shaggy_2000, i'm currently modelling a katana blade based on an 11th century design. so far, i've managed to create what looks like a thin, curved box (read very thin). i'll add more detail as i go. i'll also post screens later.

Well, the big problem is that we can't do new character models, so having Preds involved is hard. I was thinking along the lines of involving the character from the AvP novels. Basically having her look for a lost Pred clan, sith get in the way, etc. But I'd rather start of simple, so:

 

I was thinking of a few armors;

1 light/med armor with stats focusing on speed, stealth, range weapon attacks

2 heavy armors focusing on speed, dex, def, and melee attacks, with one of them being a powerful armor

 

Melee weapons:

1 or 2 spears, haven't really figured out any types of stats for them, so if you have any suggestions, shoot.

 

I'd like to see if we couldn't do the wristblades or a non-throwable disk.

 

Ranged:

some sort of hand held plasmacaster (burner) probably with electrical/fire damage

 

a speargun if possible (uber piercing damage )

 

I was also thinking of a new feat/power (if possible) for the cloak, basically something that would make you invisible or very hard to be dectected by enemies, but have combat cancel it's effects.
