Okay, so this should probably be in the games section, but I don't know what the answer is, so it's not really much of a game. Anyway my Dad got this through at work and has till Monday to figure it out. He's figured it out, but I reckon he's wrong, so lets see what you guys get. Here's the full message.

A RIDDLE THAT'LL KILL YOUR BRAIN!

This is going to make you so mad..........

There are three words in the English language that end in "gry". ONE is angry and the other is hungry. Every ONE knows what the third ONE means and what it stands for. Every ONE uses them everyday, and if you listened very carefully, I've given you the third word.

What is it?

_______gry?

I have no idea. What about you guys.

EDIT

Oh yeah, I might as well tell you everytyhing I've figured out all ready. First of all, I've been told that there are actually 7 words in the English language that end in "gry" and I doubt it's any of them. Secondly, this seems like the kind of riddle that you either get straight away, or don't get al all, no matter how much research and stuff you do, so the whole "looking words up" tactic probably won't work, then again, it might, I don't know.

Thirdly, the third word is not "language" as my dad believed it to be, that would be too much of a red herring of a riddle.

EDIT 2

After checking the internet (yeah, I cheated) it turns out there are many variations of this riddle, all with different answers. The only one that came close had every word the same starting from "There are three..." to "...I've given you the third word." and it says that the whole riddle is actually a red herring and the word is 'three', that being the third word in the riddle. The thing about this is whoever wrote the thing put that bit in the end "____gry" which means that they're actually looking for a word ending in gry (and there are actually apparently loads, not just 7) or they wrote it wrong.

So the riddle is still up for debate.
