Just wondering

Greetings,

I just downloaded a Sith Assassin Disruptor droid mod, and a HKRepair mod. Both of these use .uti and .utm files, but neither of them have any instructions as to installation.

Can someone please advise me where I should put them?

(I apologise if such questions have been posted before)

Much Obliged,

Put them in C://Program Files/Lucas Arts/Override.

This is where 99.99% of all mods will go . To remove them, simply take the files out of your Override folder.

For more tips to get you started check out the Stuck threads at the top of the page, specfically Guide for the Newbie.

I hope that helps.

I wasn't quite sure as the thread for us newbs did not state about the .uti or .utm files :)

No problem.

As Darth333 states in her message, usually only .mod files or .wav files will go someplace other than Override. I hope that helps to clarify.

It does thankyou :).

But one further question - for the HK repair mod, one of the items is listed is being sold by two NPC vendors, (Janice the robot / droid dealer in Taris, and Yortal Ixlis on Manaan. )

I've just installed the mod, and was allready on Taris (had just previously started a new char), but Janice doesn't have the item.

Therefore, would that be because I was on Taris before the mod was in the folder?

Thanks for the assistance, Redhawke.

KiwiFaction,

Since you missed the item on Taris, you have a couple different options:

There are cheats, like using cheat codes to get the item, artificially boost your repair skill, etc or....

You can pay some skill points into repair. If you're playing as a Sentinel, you probably won't even miss them. Otherwise you may want to consider using the cheat code to give yourself the item you missed
