Need Help with Photoshop Layers

Hello you all:D

I am working, since friday, in my first MOD, which is a Jango Fett high resolution armor. The results so far i'm happy to say are very good, except for a minor setback.

The original texture i used is the PMBH03, from the Mandalorian Battle Armor. The problem is that the reflexive parts of that armor are still overlaping the layers i managed to create, although i have covered some of them, i.e. Jango chest plate, with reflexive properties. Other parts, for instance the black coat under the plate, are also glowing with the reflexive properties of the armor image under them.

Any suggestions to cover the old armor texture with my new one?

Just delete it. And if it being a bit transparent, Save the file as TGA, open it, and duplicate the layer until you ile what you see.

If it isn't help tell me, i didn't understand your problem well.

I guess the problem must be the alpha channel in the original skin. It's mantaining the metallic effect in especific parts of the skin, over the new layers i'm creating. It causes the original texture to glow trough my new texture as if it (my new texture) was transparent,

I'll try to delete the alpha channels in the file, but i don't know how to "assign" it back to my new textures.

By the way i'm working and saving in the .tga extension always.

Thanks for your concern:D
