Tyler_Durden
According to ign, the PC version apparently does not support modding or editing. If that were the case and we are left out in the cold by Luca$art$, would there be a way to create new maps, vehicles, weapons, etc. without official help? TK-8252
"According to IGN" isn't very accurate.
Lt. Havoc
YES!!! it could be mod-able without tools. Often fans are ahead of the industry curve and begin making their own tools to get the job done. In the case of BF1942 the team which made the official level editor and Mod kit were originally guys which developed their own tools. There are super smart and talented fans out there. We'll see baby step mods first, ones which only change minor things (skins, weapons, game play) but as time progresses and a better understanding develops then we'll get the full conversion mods. Whimseyboy
I play BF1942 and as you know there is a site for BF1942 mods well I being a experianced modder at the age of 13 created some cool mods for BF1942 you can definatly expect a site for mods and hundreds of fans modding this game so nothing will be the same. And when this site pops up look for the author Whimseyboy. oh and look for my brainchild I thinking for this game but it might not be out for a while because I need modding tools first.
