gui1e
You can open core.lvl and the files in the data/common folder with a hex editor. One useful string is "SetReinforcementCount". I've tried changing it but the game crashes. Can anyone else help?
TK-8252
Questions: Where can I get this hex editor of which you speak, and what do .lvl files contain? Are they anything like .pk3 files?
HaVoK-G2
TK-8252 .lvl files are what most of the files are made up of in SWB =/ (they are kind of like yes .pk3, .rfa etc.. compressed data, with directories/files etc..) Im sure any hex editor would do though, nothing special, but please be careful. http://www.hexworkshop.com/ http://www.ultraedit.com Theres two pretty decent hex editors, please make sure to backup the file your editing though... incase you save or mess something up Someone who knows what they are doing and are proficient in code can write a decompressor/extrator for this eventually, and down the road a way to make .lvl files. Well see :x

gui1e
after not having much luck searching through the files I've switched tactics and used a memory scanning program called "memoryhack" to try to isolate the reinforcement counter locations. I've created a beta "trainer" which when activated increases the reinforcements of either team to 999. Although not a mod as such it has the advantage that none of the original files are touched. I would like people to test and hopefully develop this trainer further but I need a host for the file (200kb).

gui1e
Sorry I have'nt mentioned that its for the unpatched battlefront and only tested on instant action. If nothing is happening then click on the two lines of the trainer and change their options to aus then back to ain (sorry but the trainer maker is in german and i don't understand what they mean) and then alt-tab back to the game. You might have to shoot someone before the counters update. Also make sure that your actually playing a map and then pausing before using the trainer. Ein freezes the Reinforcement amount and Aus enables Ticket loss.
