italegion Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 i never tried to measure fps in BF1942 (there was no need to..) but i was just curious and..yes they capped too but at 100fps! i play at 1280x960 / highest details and frame up to 100 in MP with other 50 players with no lag problems - http://img19.exs.cx/img19/8625/ScreenShot47.jpg i have no words for SWBF..i hope they fix and improve the netcode such as BF1942
Schetter Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 BF:1942 has no FPS cap. The in-game FPS meter only reads up to 100 - anything over that is not marked in the figures. Use fraps and you'll see that it goes up over 100. There's even a benchmark for graphics cards using BF:1942 multiplay and most of the marks are well over 200.
