Battlefront stockage hits the UK

It is a dark time for UK Lucasarts publishers Activision. Having not predicted the rush for Star Wars Battlefront on all formats, the game has totally sold out, leaving all retailers without stock.

Normally, Star Wars games don't sell all too well in the UK but SWBF took off and those wishing to engage in battles from the Star Wars movies with their friends will have to wait upto 3-4 weeks until more stock hits retail.

The same could be said of Activision. Because its probably the first decent SW game in a long long time for those wishing to have multiplayer fun

yes, especially between ps2 and xbox users..

but the feeling that the game was really only made with the console player in mind, with little effort having been made to make a proper conversion to pc, explains why the selling of XBOX and PS2 are going very well (1° in UK at second week) while cannot say the same for PC (5° position in UK)

general chart UK at 2nd week - 1°

PS2 - 1°

XBOX - 1°

PC - 5° (going down..)

they could be 1° if they took much more care of the strenght and capabilities of PC. PC is not a console. God!
