DavetheGreat
Ok, here is what I have done to help get my server running: 1. I forwarded the ports 29060-29099 TCP and UDP. 2. I enabled DMZ routing with the correct IP. 3. I made sure there was NO firewall software in any way. What am I missing?! I am using a Linksys WRT54G router. Any other tips you have for me? I really want to make a server of my own... Edit: Do I need a static ip? My router ip generally stays the same, but how do I make my net ip static? Amidala from Chop Shop
How do you know your server isn't already working? Ask a friend or a friendly person on a server to check if they can see it or connect to it. Or post your IP address from http://www.whatismyip.com here and ask people if they can see it. Your ISP determines if you have a static or dynamic IP address. DSL and cable are usually static, dial-up is usually dynamic.
